Stay Fit & Healthy

It is time to get rid of all the old thoughts you have on diet and exercise, and embrace new thoughts about making a total lifestyle change if you truly desire successful weight loss. Are you tired of dieting and calorie counting when its not really producing the results that you want? I’ve shared some of my personal tips below.

You may be someone who spends a ton of time at the gym trying to push yourself to your limit. However, if you find that no matter how much you exercise, you cannot reduce your weight, it is time for a new plan.

The fact of the matter is that these fad diets don’t work. Interestingly enough, the average person does one of the fad diets four times per year. There is no doubt that exercise plays a key role in maintaining an d increasing wellbeing, however it does not burn away those unwanted fat stores. Countless studies out there show that the best way to drop the pounds is to change your lifestyle dramatically. If you are committed to the process, you can lose significant weight and maintain that weight loss over time. Here’s how – and why – it works:

A. Eating sensibly. Calories are fairly straightforward. If you take in more than you burn, your weight is going nowhere but up. There’s no reason to track the cumulative calories of every morsel as long as you bring all-around health and sensibility to your diet. Choose whole grains and lean protein sources; eat sensible portions and eat lots of fresh produce.

  1. Exercising Logically It is surprising to those who work extra hard in the gym how people who walk only an hour a day are able to lose more weight than them. There is nothing more to this. There is no need to spend excessive cash or undergo painful workouts. Even moderate exercise can get the job done as long as you’re consistent.
  2. Help from peers. It is far easier to shed fat when you have positive influences around you at all times. If your peers are sedentary and fans of eating unhealthy, heavily-processed food, it can be much harder to make the kinds of changes you need to in order to live healthy and lose weight.

D. Good sleeping habits. When you do not sleep enough, insulin production is going to be low, and your brain needs insulin in order to properly regulate your appetite. Therefore, when you don’t get enough rest, it’s more likely that you will make poor decisions when it comes to the food that you eat. Insulin is also what helps your metabolism to work at a proper rate which means you’ll be able to work out more if you’re well rested due to having more energy.

V. Keep a track of your progress. Keeping a journal is one of the most effective tools to help you lose weight. Make sure you are putting enough effort into writing down what is being consumed, amount of exercise being done, and overall effort being put in. This journal will show you at a glance what methods are successful, and which aren’t. Keeping an honest journal also has the advantage of showing up problem areas, such as binging on weekends, or when socializing with certain unlike-minded people. People who keep a food journal are much more likely to lose weight than those that skip it altogether. The food journal keeps you accountable in many different ways. Another trick up your sleeve is to track your progress with how you look wearing certain clothes. Find some unflattering old leggings and watch the transformation in front of your eyes as you can start fitting into them. For our workouts our personal choice is one of the leggings here

When you change your lifestyle completely, you won’t only lose significant amounts of weight, you will improve your health, live longer and introduce a number of positive changes like satisfaction and contentment in your life. Certainly effort is required to lose and keep off weight, bu the benefits make it well worthwhile. It is vital that you start being realistic with your weight loss goals: It is through making positive changes in your lifestyle that you’re going to get the results you’re looking for.
